MANDATORY:
EVERYONE AGE 18 AND OVER IS REQUIRED TO SHOW THEIR GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID CARD IN ORDER TO BE ADMITTED TO THE PARK. YOU MUST SHOW EITHER YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE, STATE ID CARD, PASSPORT, OR MILITARY ID BEFORE ENTRY TO THE PARK IS PERMITTED!
ALL ADULTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING ON A BIKE OR QUAD!
EVERY CHILD UNDER AGE 18 IS REQUIRED BY INDIANA STATE LAW TO WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHILE RIDING IN OR ON AN OFF ROAD VEHICLE, WHETHER ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY!
Rules
It is our sincere hope that you have a safe and enjoyable visit with us here at Haspin Acres. We ask that you extend the same courtesy to other visitors that you would expect from them.
Please be advised that the town of Laurel and Franklin County do NOT permit off road vehicles on city or county roads! It is ILLEGAL to drive off road vehicles on city or county roads, and it is ILLEGAL to drive any type of vehicle into the nearby (or any) river! Please be aware that if you do, your vehicle could be confiscated by law enforcement officials and you could potentially face legal consequences! Don't risk it! Stay on Haspin property with your off road vehicles and stay out of the river!
For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, we ask that you adhere to the following rules: (Scroll down for the rules.)
Haspin Acres Off Road & Motocross Park Rules:
1. ALL VISITORS MUST SIGN A WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM BEFORE ENTERING THE PARK!
2. Helmets and safety equipment are required. See website for further details.
3. No riding after 10:00 PM or before 6:00 AM.
4. Follow all posted speed limit signs.
5. Maintian a 20-foot clear distance from all fences.
6. DO NOT CROSS ANY DOWNED FENCES!!!
7. No hunting at any time.
8. NO FIREARMS!!! SHOOTING A GUN OF ANY KIND ON PARK PROPERTY IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE EJECTION FROM THE PARK WITHOUT A REFUND! IF YOU DISCHARGE A FIREARM ON PARK PROPERTY, YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE PARK FOR LIFE AND MAY FACE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES! THE DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM ON PARK PROPERTY IS A SERIOUS OFFENSE AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
9. Fires are to be maintained and supervised at all times. WOODEN PALLETS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN FROM BEING USED AS FIREWOOD! Burning wooden pallets leaves behind nails. When it rains, the nails wash away to the trails and can easily puncture tires! DO NOT bring wooden pallets to our park!
10. No fires in the shelters.
11. Do not cut standing trees.
12. Swimming is NO LONGER PERMITTED in either pond at Haspin Acres!
13. Riding is not permitted on pond banks.
14. ONLY bikes and quads are permitted on motocross tracks. UTVs, side by sides, buggies, and trucks are NOT permitted on motocross tracks.
15. If you must leave the park for any reason, proof of entry must be shown at the front Admissions Office before re-entering the park. Wear your wristband and keep your receipt.
16. Campsite trash is to be placed in a garbage can before leaving the park.
17. Drunken or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.
18. Children 14 years of age and youner must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
19. No one under 18 years of age will be permitted in the park without a waiver of liability form signed by his or her parents. The waiver form must be notarized if parent will not be present with the minior at the park.
20. Event spectators are not permitted to drive or be a passenger in any vehicle. If they do, they must pay the regular admission fee.
21. Indiana State Law requires that everyone under age 18 must wear a helmet when riding any off road vehicle on public or private property.
Haspin Acres management reserves the right to eject (without refund) anyone not adhering to the above stated rules.
Do your part...
During your visit to Haspin Acres, please remember that this park is primarily a natural habitat. Any help you offer to keep it that way is greatly appreciated. Receptacles are in place throughout the park for your trash. If you need firewood, check at the main gate. Please do not cut trees!
During your visit to Haspin Acres, we ask that you be courteous and respectful to the park, the staff, and the other people visiting Haspin. We appreciate your consideration of others and care of our property, and as usual, we expect all rules and regulations to be followed. They are there for a reason! We want to ensure your safety and want everyone's visit to Haspin Acres to be enjoyable. Together, we make this a fantastic place for everyone!
